Another shambles of a quiz

NEXT WALK 02nd April 2011 - We will be raiding the Welsh Borders and traversing the Long Mynd Ridge. We will be staying in Shrewsbury for a quiet night after enjoying Dave's Quiz!!!

NEXT WALK 11th DECEMBER 2010 - If the weather is good we will be walking Helm Crag (7 miles) from Grasmere Village, if the weather is bad then we will be walking Baystones (6.75miles) from Ambleside.
Monday 08 November Front page revamped I am working on it still but decided to publish it as it is and you can suggest improvements if you want to as it evolves

Thursday 06 May NEW FORUM CREATED!
We have added a link to the home page for our new FORUM where you can have your say about anything and everything! We do need your input so register as a forum user and get writing!
If you would like to submit a story from any of the walks you've been on, then you can do so on the forum and I will transfer them 'as is' on to the website. Alternatively email them to me at alb1970@hotmail.co.uk and the same thing will happen!

Tuesday 27 April Funding was secured at the weekend we obtained a 5 year hosting deal for £87 so we're good to go for a while yet. The plan is to have a forum up and running in the next couple of weeks which will hopefully generate some input from other members and maybe from some of the many thousands that I'm sure are already visiting the site.
Please if you have any stories or anecdotes you want to add to the site about any of the walks and or members send them to me at alb1970@hotmail.co.uk and I will add them straight away
Friday 23 April Due to difficulties funding the hosting of this site it may disappear temporarily but will be back as soon as the financial situation is resolved
Friday 16 April Site was crawled by Google for the first time, this means you can now search in Google for the website. If you try it you will soon see that we have little or no rating yet for 'phoenix 5' but if you add the word 'fellwalking' we jump to the top. People visiting the site and links to the site will increase our rating amongst other things so if you have a Facebook, Myspace or any kind of website that you can add our web address to, then do so and the site will benefit in the google ratings
